Taking The Plunge: What Many Mothers Find Hard To Do

December 7, 2010 by Lounge Lady in Motherhood with 3 Comments

I was inspired by this article in the September 2010 edition of Oprah Magazine. I have written about the challenges of balancing family, life and work in a previous blog post. The Belgian tennis player – Kim Clijsters is a living example of this. She took a break from tennis to start a family and took that plunge that so many mothers find hard to do. She reignited her career, winning the US open this past weekend. I am sure if you ask Ms Clijsters she will tell you that it was not all roses, peaches and cream. It is hard work to be a mother, family person and balance a successful career, but she did it and so can you (even in heels!)
